MickMaster"s Cleansing Tips
- *Don't commit to anything physically or emotionally challenging during your first 5 days as you may not have the energy.
- *Cut out caffeine 3 or 4 days before you start the Cleanse. You don't want a caffeiene headache while adjusting to life on lemonade.
- *Heat up the salt water before drinking it--much easier.
- *Treat yourself in other ways. Get a massage, apply a fancy face mask, splurge on some new candles or whatever will make you happy.
- *A small electric juicer is the way to go. We find it takes 3 lemons per every 32 ounces of lemonade unless you use a Meyer lemon in which case you'll only need 1.
- *Pal around with your Cleanse partner. A movie night never felt so comforting.
- *Cravings are normal. Write down the healthy ones and promise yourself a raincheck.
- *Take a walk during lunchtime at work. Just because you're not eating doesn't mean you don't need a break.
- *Meet friends out for herbal mint tea. Social, low key and totally kosher.
- *Head to work with two bottles of lemonade minus the water. Add water at work--much lighter for transport.

- Grape nuts with brown sugar
- Hummus on crackers
- Miso soup
- Thai green curry with veggies
- Salads with crumbled cheese
- Toasted English muffins with butter
